I just power washed my concrete, what are these stripes everywhere!?
In the exterior cleaning industry we refer to those as tiger stripes! Tiger Stripes are caused by variances in applied water pressure, and are quite common among home owner units.
Tiger Stripes are casued by either flucuating levels of water pressure exiting the machine or a home-owner/contractor holding the pressure-washing wand an inconsistent distance away from a given surface.
But DON’T WORRY! Tiger stripes are easily fixable. When cleaning flatwork, proffesional exterior cleaning companies use what is called a surface cleaner (pictured below) to prevent any variances in the amount of water pressure applied.
